Cybernorms featuring David Nelken

Cybernorms.net at Lund University proudly presents a brand new series of lectures on Sociology of Law hosted on iTunesU. The series display interviews with some of the worlds most prominent scholars in the field today. Håkan Hydén, professor at the sociology of law department, Lund university, has traveled around Europe in this first season, talking to famous sociologists of law, in search of answers for questions about socio-legal theory, social norms and legal rules in the creation of Europe, the gap problem in a digital context.

In this first episode we meet David Nelken, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Legal Institutions and Social Change at the University of Macerata, Visiting Professor of Criminology at Oxford Law Faculty (from October 2010 till September 2013).

This series of lectures is the Cybernorms research group’s contribution to the web-based distance-learning masters program “Sociology of European Law” (SELA) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Lund University, Sweden.  A new episode will be released once a month featuring a new interview.
